Three of my Buffy the Vampire Slayer fics from 2001 - Safe Sex, the Hungry series, and Beloved - have been nominated for Round 25 of the Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards.

Better late than never, I guess.

Yeah, I have no idea why they picked this round to nominate a batch of my fics. I don't recognize any of the other authors, so it's probably not because they're doing a 10 year anniversary retrospective or something...

LOL, I can guarantee with complete confidence that "Safe Sex" was not a product of genius. But I admit that I have a soft spot for the "Hungry" series, which for a while I thought I'd never manage to finish (two years, baby).

*smile* That would be flattering, but I doubt that they really remembered my stuff after ten years. I think it's more likely that they found it when I reposted it to Archive of Our Own this past year. I could be wrong, though, since I don't actually know who nominated me...
