OMG, I think that jezziejay was right!

So a while back,
jezziejay posted this. And while at the time, I was very much attached to my idea that Cuddy, House, and Rachel would be involved in some kind of accident, Rachel would die, and Cuddy would blame House, new spoilers gleaned over at house_cuddy have caused me to reconsider. Now Cuddy's hospitalization and dreams of a future Rachel in 7X15 seem much more consistent with
jezziejay 's Gone with the Wind interpretation: that Cuddy gets pregnant and either miscarries or has an abortion, and blames House.
I would hate to think that House would do anything deliberately to sabotage her pregnancy, whether he wanted to have kids with her or not, but it would be totally consistent with his character for him to insist on termination if he feels that Cuddy's life is in danger.

Date: 2011-02-20 04:37 pm (UTC)I agree, he would insist on termination if Cuddy's life was endangered by it but otherwise I can not see him ever trying to sabotage her pregnancy in anyway. He knows how long and hard she tried to get pregnant and how heartbroken she was when she couldn't. If House really loves her, he wouldn't want to see her go through with it again.
I can see a scenario where House accidently causes her to trip or something and then she miscarries (for the same reason she miscarried before having nothing to do with him) but then Cuddy blames him in her grief and that is what ultimately ends it for them.
Still, the idea of a Huddy baby makes me shudder even more than a Huddy wedding and a Huddy wedding gives me nightmares.
Just looked at House_Cuddy teaser. Give me a break! Just because Cuddy dreams about a future with House as her husband does not guarantee that if they marry it will last long. They will marry, I'm certain of that. It seems to be TPTB wet dream this year but I'm hoping it will end during the honeymoon.
Comment edited to add an idea.
