How have I never seen any fanfic references to the scene in "Fools for Love" when House tells Wilson that a big romantic weekend in the Poconos could change everything and Wilson infers from his meaningful stare that House was talking about the two of them?

Then again, Wilson asked Cuddy if she wanted to make out in the stairwell the week before. Maybe he's just been feeling really lonely in that sterile little hotel room of his.

I remember reading at least one - I think Wilson gets appendicitis, but can't remember what it's called. Helpful, aren't I?

Wilson and Cuddy making out on the stairwell - that would have been interesting, wouldn't it??

Yeah, RSL is, undoubtedly, the King of Deadpan.
I had a quick look for that fic I mentioned, but no joy - although, I think it's called 'Weekend in the Poconos'. (What or where is the Poconos BTW?)

And yes - the awkward. The awkward scene at the convention. The awkward scene in the canteen. Even when she was comforting Wilson during the Amber-dying-ark, it seemed awkward.
EeeeeeeeeeeK!

Hmmm - weird. But then, many tourist destinations are. In this country we have Knock - there's a big stone there. A holy stone, apparently. Thousands flock there on a regular basis. It's cold and wet and dull - but it has a stone.

I only ever watched the last two eps of season four the one time - and I don't remember 'feeling' the W/Cu comfort scene. Maybe because I was distracted by the whole 'waking Amber up to tell her she's dying' thing. Personally, if it was me, I'd rather they left me in a coma. I actually have this season on DVD - I should watch it again. It has some of my favourite H/W scenes, including the guitar kidnapping and the 'you're sleeping with me' realisation!

BTW - do you have 'upside down' houses in the US? Where the bedrooms are downstairs and the living area upstairs? I ask because it relates to my current fic - which I'm a bit distracted about at the moment.

Thanks. The more typical house here is bedrooms upstairs and living area downstairs. A colleague of mine lives in an 'upside-down' house - it's quite bizarre - and it would have worked for my fic. Will have to have a re-think...

well there's this, using the scene as an excuse for some short porn.. To Catch Fire (http://antychan.livejournal.com/30036.html) by [livejournal.com profile] antychan.

Have you considered putting in a request to [livejournal.com profile] hw_reqs? I for one would love to see more of this ;) Early season fic is so good :)
