flywomanOkay, two disclaimers here.
1) I am mostly (at the moment exclusively) reccing the work of my friends back in the day. That said, they were a pretty awesome bunch and still get recced with great enthusiasm by people who are not me.
2) I have not actually reread most of these stories in their entirety in this century (because they are long, and I have moved on to other obsessions). If you have any more recent favorites... or any other favorites at all... please rec them in the comments :).
Fanfiction and Filks
The Iolokus Series by MustangSally and RivkaT
The first spectacularly successful and erratically punctuated fanfiction epic co-written by these two divas, emerging from feminist rage on Scully's behalf and inspired by Medea.
Blood and Breath by RivkaT
A recently discovered read in which Scully takes comfort from Skinner after identifying Mulder's dead body... and then complications ensue.
Choirgirl Set by Jennifer-Oksana
Angsty Mulder/Krycek and Mulder/Scully, and only the first in the series, "She's Your Cocaine," is really a songfic.
A Cold Angel Eye by Sandy Jordan
Gorgeously written epic Scully/Skinner. I think there might have been a plot, too.

Just a lovely, lovely retrospective of the Mulder/Scully relationship, even appreciated by crotchety old fence sitters like myself.
