House M.D.: Final(e) Speculations

flywomanWe know from the promos that the POTW is a performance artist who may be faking some of her symptoms in order to challenge House and his team. What is the tie-in to the simultaneous character subplots? It seems to me that the most likely connection is that House (and we) can't trust everything that we see in this episode (or maybe in this entire season). Yes, I'm back to the hallucination theory! And now we even have a physiological basis - a brain tumor caused by his use of the experimental muscle regeneration drugs, which could also account for some of the aggressive, out-of character behavior seen in "The Fix" and in the promos for "Moving On."
Also, what is the reason for House's "stalking" of Cuddy as presented in the promos? Why, when sneak peeks show him returning her things and saying that he wants to go back to the way things were before they got together (side note: and could this be significant in terms of a hallucination theory?), would he then turn around and behave in a threatening way? Is it because "Moving On" refers to Cuddy starting to date someone else and House becoming jealous and vengeful (in parallel with the POTW in "The Fix")? If so, is this someone else a stranger? Lucas? Or maybe even Wilson, starting in "Fall from Grace" (which would explain why events in this episode could permanently change House's relationships with both of them)?
I'm also very curious to see whether the finale reveals that the writers knew that LE would not be renewing her contract. I can think of all kinds of reasons why LE might have chosen not to do so, but I can also see the decision being made at the other end, based on the idea that now that the House/Cuddy relationship has been explored,her character serves no further purpose it's no longer possible for House and Cuddy to coexist amicably in the same hospital (although it seemed to me that their interactions in "After Hours" contradict this).
What are your thoughts?
