I don't think we can assume just yet that Cuddy is going to die. Right now I'm leaning heavily towards the idea that she is miraculously pregnant and that House will choose to save her life at the expense of the fetus, and she will leave him. (And even if this isn't what actually happens, I think that it *should* happen as it would be so consistent with House's character and themes of past episodes.)
