I think that Xavi speaks for all of us...

XaviCringing

...not just during Ramos' well-intentioned penalty kick, but during pretty much all of yesterday's match. They took us through the torture of the semifinal against Italy, and then between little rest for aging legs, Brazilian brutality conveniently overlooked by the ref, a superb save by David Luiz, and more than their share of bad luck, they lost the final 3-0. And Xavi, being a bigger man than I am, simply stated that while Spain had really wanted to play a good game, they failed to show up.

Well, it was sad more because Uruguay lost earlier and I really wnated them to win ... ehhhhh

Sad to say but Brazil was better. Much much better. But I still hate Neymar. I don't know how I will feel next season but it will take a lot for him to make me like him. Ehhhhhhh :(

I would have felt terrible for Italy if they had lost twice in a row at the PK stage, even though on the whole I kind of prefer Uruguay.

Brazil played better on that particular day on that particular stadium, it's true. I think that a rested Spain would have been able to beat them.

If he helps us score a manita against Madrid I will like him ;).

Well, I don't know ... I never cared much for Italian NT

I don't know. He seems like a diving whinny count to me ... like I said, it will take A LOT! He'd have to prove me wrong.

I have a soft spot for old Gigi, and I like Pirlo.

I didn't get to watch all of the Brazil matches, but I did hear that he dove a lot. Although he's so small and slight that it's also probably pretty easy to push him over...

I do like Gigi. I think everyone does but generally italian NT does nothing for me ... I am getting more and more fond of Juve but that's it.

I did not watch all but from those I saw and what my SA twitter friends claim he is simply a master diver. Sometimes the opponent did not even touch him. And about small guys ... try to stop Messi. He is small and does get fauled a lot but he is not rolling on the grass like a mixture of CRon DiveMaria and our beloved Dani.

Haha, no, it's true, Messi is difficult to take down. He would rather keep going towards the goal than claim a foul. Still, he has a lower center of gravity than Neymar.
