The Mastodon in the Room
Okay, the episode title is incredibly heavy-handed, but it still made me laugh. Unlike the equally heavy-handed use of an Afghan woman's words to make Booth reconsider his priorities and return home, which just got a groan.
LOVE Sweets with the hat and facial hair, tickling the ivories. Daisy's lookin' good this season, too, although I really did not need to see quite that much of her.
And Jack and Angela are pregnant! OMFG, he is so adorable (and she is so gorgeous). If I were to write Bones fic, it would be super schmoopy Hodgins/Montenegro, and once I recovered my senses, I would be deeply ashamed. I loved the way Brennan reacted when Angela told her, too. Forget Booth - those two are the real odd couple on this show.
So we frickin' finally seem to be over the revolving intern phase, which lasted FOUR TIMES AS LONG as the equivalent game of Survivor on House. I'm sad that Nigel-Murray didn't make it because he was totally cute and full of fun random facts. I figured that the writers would keep Wendell around for dramatic tension with his ex and Hodgins, but so far none has materialized.
Also, I love Caroline. She is the linchpin. And she totally cracks my shit up.
