Thank you so much! This fic really didn't get much attention - rare pairing, Barcelona-centric, etc. - so I'm delighted every time I receive a comment.

I agree that Villa's appearance, especially in his younger days, suggested a certain level of arrogance and perhaps disdain, and he has been known to lose his temper on the pitch (although who hasn't, really?). I think, though, that while driven, and a bit of a show-off, he is also an affectionate, warm-hearted, fun-loving guy.
