Hee!

How have I never seen any fanfic references to the scene in "Fools for Love" when House tells Wilson that a big romantic weekend in the Poconos could change everything and Wilson infers from his meaningful stare that House was talking about the two of them?

Then again, Wilson asked Cuddy if she wanted to make out in the stairwell the week before. Maybe he's just been feeling really lonely in that sterile little hotel room of his.

Yeah, RSL is, undoubtedly, the King of Deadpan.
I had a quick look for that fic I mentioned, but no joy - although, I think it's called 'Weekend in the Poconos'. (What or where is the Poconos BTW?)

And yes - the awkward. The awkward scene at the convention. The awkward scene in the canteen. Even when she was comforting Wilson during the Amber-dying-ark, it seemed awkward.
EeeeeeeeeeeK!

Strangely enough, the Poconos mentioned is (are?) in Pennsylvania, not some lovely Caribbean island, and apparently kind of a tourist destination. I don't understand it myself.

I just rewatched the Amber dying arc as research for my current fic, and actually, I find that scene very touching. Not at all sexy, though, just maternal. Then again, I feel similarly about her interactions with House, who only has eyes for Wilson in those eps.
