Some colleagues of mine just told me that The Wire is the single bestest show on television ever. The premise really doesn't grab my interest at all, but if you start watching it, please let me know what you think!

The first few seasons of Bones = great before they make the main character into a caricature and we lose most of our empathy and admiration for her (sound familiar?).

WATCH THE WEST WING. Seriously. Watch it 20 minutes at a time if you have to! There's no mystery to be wrapped up in 45 min or whatever so it's not a problem ;).

I can't watch the Olympics, even online, because unlike apparently everyone else in the 21st century, I do not pay for tv so I can't get nbc streaming :(. Did I tell you that I tried to install a dish but a tree across the street blocks the signal from one of the satellites???

Likewise, it was a colleague of mine who told me about The Wire, and gave me a memory stick with the first two seasons on it. And it would be so my thing if I could just get around to watching it. Same with The West Wing.

The first few seasons of Bones = great before they make the main character into a caricature and we lose most of our empathy and admiration for her (sound familiar?). Sounds vaguely familiar...*ponders* :D

It makes little sense, considering I watch so little TV, but cable is one of our few indulgances. There are about 500 channels, and I rarely make any use of them. And yet, I can't let it go...

Chop down that tree, or report it. I would :D It is annoying that you might want to see something, but can't. Because of a tree. Sheesh!!
